Cathy Chappell-Chambers

Cathy is Vice-President of US-OTYO! in San Francisco and works closely with Jolly Bugari (the Founder of OTYO!) to provide technical guidance for programs in Uganda.

 

Prior to joining OTYO!, Cathy worked for the United Nations Information Centre, the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum, US Committee for Refugees and Immigrants, as well as the Academy for Educational Development as a Program Associate with the Population Communication Services Program.

  

Cathy has a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from Oglethorpe University in Atlanta, GA, and a Master’s degree in Public Health, with a concentration in Maternal and Child Health, from George Washington University in Washington, DC. Cathy is also certified as an STI/HIV/HCV Testing Counselor and is certified as a Sexual Assault Counselor in California.

 

Outside of her  work schedule, Cathy enjoys literature, movies and spending time with her husband, two daughters, two cats, and a very large dog.
